Dr. Mark O’Brien is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician with over 30 years of experience dedicated to patient-centered care. With a strong background as a hospitalist spanning more than 25 years, Dr. O’Brien is recognized for his expertise in managing complex medical conditions and multi-symptom cases. In 2024, he opened his private practice, Coastal Internal Medicine, to provide continuity of care and better support his patients’ long-term health and well-being.

Dr. O’Brien practices the philosophy “Patients don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Outside of work, Dr. O’Brien enjoys golfing, skiing, and learning pickleball. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Greater Tri-Cities IPA.
